I wanted to show how to make a sharply focused BG a little less distracting. to this end I 1st selected the top area with lasso tool then used the Quick mask tool and a soft edged brush to make it more accurate by addind and removing round bits like the horns which did not require blurring, when happy use the exit button to the left then go to edit - blurr - gausian and move the leveltil it clears the detail but with-out make every thing vanish usually a low level around 4, you can always go back and do again if it doesnt look right.
I also increased saturation +8 contrast +3 brightness +2
then sharpen edges, followed by Unsharpmask 131% X 2.8px X threshold 12. then faded back to 75% in pin light.
I looked at the image size and changed it to a more natural viewing size of 800 pixels wide @72dpi which is most people screen resolution. and then used save to web to bring it close to Trek limit of 200k (195.5K)
post and hope you like the changes , the selection is a little rough I rather rushed it more time would give a much better graduated blurr.
