[Note Guidelines] []
It is closely related to the true tits, and in winter it is often found with tit flocks.

This is a very small bird at only 13–15 cm in length including its very long tail, which itself makes up 7–9 cm of the total. The Long-tailed Tit is black and brown above and whitish below, with reddish flanks. It has a white crown. North European birds (A. c. caudatus) have completely white heads and flanks.

This is a restless species, constantly on the move as it searches for insects and other small food items. It is usually found in small flocks, and has been described as an avian sheep.

Long-tailed Tits are birds of deciduous woodlands with undergrowth. They nest in a tree or shrub. Six to twelve eggs are laid in a woven closed nest. The nest is held together with spider webs, and camouflaged with lichen. Adult birds will find a relative's nest and help feeding their "nephews and nieces", if their own nest is predated.

Hello Marcin,
Good shot, great exposure and colour management. Excellent detail and a nicely defocused BG highlights the subject well. There is a little noise in the background but really just a little, it doesn't detract from the image. Nice work.

Hello Marcin,
Excellent capture of the Long-tailed Tit, a difficult bird to photograph. This is sharp with fine BG and well composed, but it would have been nice to include the tip of the tail in this shot.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Marcin,
Good detail and sharpness in plumage.
My nit is the tail which is crossing the edge to the right.
Overall well done...difficult guy to capture IMO.

Hi Marcin,
Beautiful capture of this tit!
I like so much the clear and sharp details got on their feathers, they're very good.
Their beak looks like so small in proportion with the rest of the body, but this is the way this specie is.
Very good the DOF manage here to put away the background.
Congratulations and thanks for share.
My best regards,

Hello Marcin
What a wonderful capture you did here!! The little bird is really beautiful. It has a curious tiny beak and a wonderful plumage that you caught with perfect sharpness. I love the colors and composition too.
My compliments and TFS.

Nice shot Marcin great detail and sharp good angle and POV rgds Necip

Hej Marcin,
a nice picture of the long-tailed tit, pity you missed the end of the tail, but these birds are not the easiest birds
to catch, always moving around very fast.
Good detials and nice colours.
Well done.

Hi Marcin.
First class shot. Bravo. Amazing composition, great lighting and sharpness of the images of bird and twigs, very beautiful nicely coloured BG. My compliments and TFS.

I guess if so many people say it's really difficult to photograph this picture, it must be so true then. Then again, many birds are hard to photograph, especially small ones coz they move fast and very often!

This one here is lovely. I like the sharpness yet with a soft feel to it. Would be great if its tail wasn't cut off but nonetheless, a lovely picture.

Cze Marcin!
W naturze nie widziaam nigdy raniuszka, tym bardziej uradowa mnie jego widok. Oczko byszczce, apki i dziobek te. Pirka wyrane i miy kadr.
Gratuluj i pozdrawiam - Roma
