We had a snow shower (rare here) as I was on the way to fill my bird feeders so I took my camera with me just in case an opportunity presented itself, as it did. This is one of the resultant pictures.
One of my computer programs wiped the exif files from some of my pictures when I copied them to DVD's. Unfortunately this is one of them.
Camera:- EOS 1D Mk 11, lens - 100-400mm IS plus 1,4x converter, hand held.

Congratulations, Peter! This is a real winner! POV is excellent, colours and composition perfect -- superb dof, background and details

Hello Peter, what a great picture you have taken. The colours and focus are great. You have managed to capture so much detail in the bird.
Well done. TFS.

Hi Peter,
Pity we can't see the properties or meta...
A good image of course.
It is not really a nit but there's some softness in it, I can't really explain...

Very well done. Great focus. Like the eye highlight.

This is very nice. I like the colors against the snow. As annick brought up, a little softness but due to noise reduction, anyway, i think this image works. Compo is great too!
