In a rainforest near where I live:
This is a Small Leaf Lilly Pilly Syzgium luehmannii (syn. Eugenia luehmannii)
Lilly pillies are evergreen rainforest plants with glossy green lance-shaped leaves that are pink-red when young. Fluffy white flowers in Spring to Summer. Showy pink-red fruits in late Summer to Autumn.
Most of the fruit is tart but some are sweet and crunchy and can be picked and cooked up as a jam or jelly
