|WISHING ALL TN FRIENDS A HAPPY NEW YEAR!|
Took this picture in the evening of a warm winter day on Dec 30. The mellow light at sunset acted as spot-light for this picture.
The Eurasian collared dove (Streptopelia decaocto), most often simply called the collared dove, also sometimes hyphenated as Eurasian collared-dove, is a species of dove native to warm temperate and subtropical Asia, and introduced in North America in the 1980s. In the latter half of the 20th century the species' native range vastly expanded, and it can now be found from Southeast Asia through to Western Europe.

Hi Ram,very nice dove to close the 2017 in an excellent way,not a natural scenery but a perfect capture made in the usual top quality. I wish you all the best me too and thanks,Luciano
First of all, happy new year to you and your loved ones, too. On this photo you used the available light very well, no blown out parts but the contrast is pleasantly high in the entire image. Very nice composition, using the electric wire as a semi-diagonal line was a fine idea as well. Sharpness might be increased on the re-sized image a little, but as a whole the photo has high quality, even with the human-made element (some people do not like it on a nature photo, but as long as it's not destructing I don't mind).
Well done, great shot.
Kind regards from Ireland, Laszlo
Wishing you a Happy New Year to you and your family!
You have used the light beautifully. The photo is sharp with the details coming out nicely.
