The Transalpina or National Road DN67C located in the Parng Mountains group, in the Southern Carpathians of Romania, is one of the highest roads of the Carpathian Mountains. It connects Novaci, south of Parng Mountains, to Sebeş in the north.
It is said that the road was built under King Carol II and rebuilt during World War II by German troops and it is called The King's Road by the locals.
The road has its highest point at the Urdele Pass, where the elevation is 2,145m above sea level. Given the high altitude, the road is closed during the cold months of the year.

Hi Marius.A spectacular 3D effect watching the large version,it seems to be there and watching real this valley! Magnificent wild scenery and a very professional quality,i like it! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Marius,
The composition's beautiful, but the lights were poor, the whole sky's washed out and a bit overexposed. I hope you'll have the chance to capture this scene again, in sunny conditions. Good luck!
Kind regards, Lszl
