[Note Guidelines] []
The red-crested pochard (Netta Rufina) is a diving duck, equivalent in size to the mallard.
Both sexes are different, in this picture, it is a male: red head, black breast, red bill. Females have dark brown top of the head and gray beak (with pink tip).
They live on water bodies with good vegetation. In winter they are found along the coasts. They feed mainly on aquatic plants, occasionally invertebrates.
They live in Europe and Asia. In Europe, they usually migrate to Spain to nest.

Hi Philippe
Fun photo, los of action at the back end. Good POV nice and close with good eye contact. Great exposure to freeze the action with sharp detail and colour. He has great body control, to have his head so still and the back end going wild. Nicely composed super job.
Thanks for sharing
Best regards
Colin
