Hello friends, here is a little series
of 2 new photos of Raccoons, unfortunately
the back-lighting was strong, today i am
posting one adult and the next photo
will be 3 baby Raccoons

from Hinterland Who's Who website

Habitat and habits

Raccoons are able to live in a wide
range of habitats. The only apparent
requirements are a source of water,
food, and a protected area for denning.

The best habitats are hardwood swamps,
floodplain forests, fresh - and
saltwater marshes, and farmland, both
cultivated and abandoned. On the prairies,
raccoons are most abundant in woodlot
and wetland areas. This highly adaptable
animal is also very common in many
cities of North America.

Merci

Asbed

Hallo Asbed
What a friendly image. The face of the raccoon up in the tree, looking down at you tell a story of its own. Such a natural scene you managed to capture here. I also like the inclusion of the natural surroundings very much. The green leaves of the trees are beautiful. Thanks for sharing a special moment of interaction. Best regards.

Bonsoir Asbed,

L'arbre et les feuilles aident au cadrage de l'animal. La prise de vue permet de voir les dtails et les couleurs du raton laveur. Le contre-jour ne nuit pas trop au rendu des couleurs, les feuilles tamisent la lumire. Bonne soire.

Pierre

I like the way this raccoon is looking at your friend Asbed. Nice nature setting with beautiful light. I would like to be in an environment like this today to uplift myself.
Thanks and kind regards,
Jusni

My catagory where they really live is full, but up a tree is an unusual capture. Kudos Ashbed.

really a great natural shot. i love the angle and how racoon reacted to your presence. good timing. nice background. good natural lighting. thanks for sharing.

Despite their popularity and almost like a domestic cat distribution in North America Raccoons remains one of the most interesting animals for us the people from the Southern atmosphere in my opinion friend Asbed! How are you? Love the curiosity very typical for the species here in this image! Brilliantly composed shot!
