Great capture de cette belle amie de Grard rongeurs.

Mais, je dois vous corriger, parce que je suis de l'Argentine et je sais que ces animaux.
Ce est ce qui est communment connu comme "Chinchilln" ou "Grand Chinchilla" et son nom scientifique est "Lagidium viscacia" ("viscacia" par "Vizcacha" mais en ralit elle est lie aux Chinchilla et ne est pas vrai "Viscacha de plaines", notre Vizcacha Argentine" et dont le nom scientifique est "Lagostomus maximus").

Il ne est certainement pas un "Dolichotis patagonum" mais plutt un "Lagidium viscacia".

Un gros calin.

Hello Gerard,
What a unique looking critter you have posted, it has the face of a kangaroo, body of a rabbit and the tail of a squirrel. Nicely focused and captured in an attractive relaxed pose. Appears you had some fairly harsh lighting to deal with, but you managed the exposure quite well. Beautiful natural colors.
Actually after viewing your photo I had to look it up on the web to find out more about this cute little animal. Thanks for sharing!!

Very interesting to see this animal. It is a rodent, but one of the more attractive ones I've seen. TFS. It look almost like a small kangaroo to me, BTW.
