Number 35 on our list of different birds visiting our deck and feeders in the past three years. A beautiful surprise as I opened the blinds to look out at the commotion on the deck as a Chipmunk and squirrel were arguing for the remaining nuts and seed.

Hi Steven,a lovely capture from above of this common dove,it's a pity for the end of the tail out of the pic,but i like a lot the fine details and the bright colors. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Ciao Steven, great capture of lovely dove, wonderful natural colors, excellent clarity and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Steven,
Thanks for visiting my picture. Looking forward to see technical analysis on my picture from you, if you can.

Beautiful coloured Dove. Details and colour looks nice. Even in such difficult angle you focused well n its eye. But personally I don't like such POV, focusing lens towards ground when capturing bird. To me birds tail is important too. Personally I'm not impressed watching this picture.
Thanks for sharing your work with us,
Keep shooting and post,
Regards,
Srikumar

Hello Steven,
My favorite birds to view since childhood are either pigeons or doves. You have shown this particular specimen in fine detail and lovely colors. I particularly like seeing the layered feathers around the neck and their beautiful iridescent colors. The eye contact is excellent with just a tad bit of catchlight. The complete tail would definitely be the icing on the cake, although this is still a pretty sight to me.
Ron
