Hi All,
While on holidays we had a great deal of rain showers as this capture of a Black Bear cub illustrates. He and his black sibling and mom were out in the rain, Mom foraging for food and the cubs being cubs, climbing trees, wrestling and playing tag all for our enjoyment. While at Waterton we were able to observe this family a few times along with many others.

Hi Rob

I am SO jealous - for the second time today (the first was Gary Fudge's red squirrel shot).

Lovely composition with great colour and DOF.

Hi Rick.
Very touching picture of this cute baby. Amazing composition, details and rich colours. May be shot is looked as underexposed but it is not a principal point. I like excellent impressive POV and great DOF too. My compliments and TFS.

Hi Rick,

You had a very exciting vacation! This wet little cub is adorable. What a nice face he has - seems to be looking right at you. I love the way he is framed by the tall grass.

Jane

Hi Rick,
difficult light, but you handled it well. The colors and detail look very good. The cutness factor is very high here!
That is a cool shot :)

Oh Rick,

Amazing how close you can bring us to this cub! I love the natural surroundings and colours, and he does look like he wishes for a towel! So gald you were able to get some wonderful captures in the rainy weather you all encountered.

Beautiful!

Ange

This is camping!!!... Wow, I dont see new born bears in National Parks around here. Are we living in the same country? Maybe you live in a zoo ;) This is a fantastic capture; I hope that Ill visit Waterton someday. TFS,
Claudine

10 outta 10 for cute points Rick! Great lighting brings out some nice detail in this bear.

Hi Rick
Lovely picture of this cub in full action. A bit underexposed but perfectly sharp.
In the WS I simply adapted the right cursor to the right end of the histogramm, a very simple but effective control of exposure, easily done with almost all photo-software and no manipulation: just a post treatment adaption of the exposure
