Eye Of The Sea
|[Note Guidelines] ÇÀÌÅÒÊÀ ÔÎÒÎÃÐÀÔÀ|
Although this kind of small, sweetwater mountain lakes do not have anything to do with the sea, my mother language calls themselves as "eyes of the sea". There are so many of them in Ireland, where I live - this one on the image is named Loch Cummeenaloughaun, and is located in the Gleninchaquin Forest Park in county Kerry.
Photo: done in difficult light conditions, when only a few sunrays were available. Manual exposure mode. PP: adjusting levels, contrast, enhancing sky and luminance.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for visiting my gallery. Nice mountain lakes.....I remember those kind of lakes which I have seen here in Romania in the RETEZAT MOUNTAINS. Details, colors and POV are excellent. This type of landscapes are always breathtaking....

A beautiful scene indeed with an abundance of greenery surrounding the lake. This is what I imagine in my mind when I think of Ireland. I like the play of shadows and light throughout the entire image. Lovely!!
Ciao Laszlo, fascinating landscape with nice lake, wonderful natural colors and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
I love the POV of this landscape photo you took, it is like if a bird
was in-flight and has this beautiful scenery in front of him, TFS
