Ciao Maurizio,secondo me una spintarella al colore e al contrasto in PP avrebbe aiutato a compensare le scarsa luce,i dettagli sono meravigliosi,si possono contare le piume...quanto te la invidio,oggi ho perso 3 ore ad inseguire un cormorano ma...manco per le balle di fare qualcosa di buono..ehehe...buon pomeriggio! A fine close capture of the Blue Tit.
I agree with Luciano, the low winter lighting has been well managed and used to give fine sharpness, natural colours and a contrasting BG. the composition is just right for this almost frontal POV.

Such a sharp and crisp magnification of a Blue Tit is not a small feat, Maurizio. Your mastery of the craft with effective use of your equipment is clearly manifest in this great work.
The POV is just perfect to delineate the portrait of this small bird with all the subtle shades of colour on it beautifully captured.

I must say your image is so finely detailed that I feel as though the bird is actually sitting right next to me. Awesome shot with every feather in tac sharp focus. Colors are simply gorgeous and that little twinkle in it's eye is the icing on the cake. Superb work!!
