Hi Trekkers,

Just back from my holiday from Hungary. I had fantastic time, many gigabytes of photos were shot - but due to an SD-card issue, almost all my photos were deleted (an expert's just trying to restore them). Here's one which survived the binary chaos - about the special limestone tufa (meteogene travertine).

Photo shot in a watercourse, in a specially protected area of Bükk National Park. Manual exposure mode and ISO, auto white balance.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Laszlo,
Tonight we are again neighbor here on TN :-)
Nice to hear that you have a nice Holiday. Looking forward to see your picture.
Simple but attractive texture of lime stone. Good details and exposure.
Beautiful creation of Mother Nature.

Hi Laszlo. I'm so sorry for what happened. It also happened to me and I managed to recover only a few photos after a virus had canceled 2 years of shots. But something remains for you too, something different and interesting. Really very photogenic this tuff, the picture is made in excellent quality despite the difficult light.Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

To me it looks like frozen lawa, though I have no knowledge about the rock formation but what I see that I describe.

Truly mind-blowing art created by nature, Laszlo.
I see a vast array of abstract shapes within the frame.
Just the right exposure with perfect details and apt contrasts.
Thanks for sharing this brilliant work. Hope rest of your images are successfully retrieved.
