[Note Guidelines]
Ilex Hairstreak, Satyrium ilicis, complimenting the yellow flowerhead on which it is feeding. According to Tolmnan in the Collins Field Guide. Butterflies of Britain and Europe.p. 68 and pl. 19 this is found over a wide area including the Greek Islands. I suppose that this is a male with the sex brand being the large lighter marking on the hind wing above the thorax; is that correct?
Again a fast shutter speed was needed because of the wind as well as the movement of the wings.

Hi Geofrrey,a species that i seen just a time in my fileds, not common...the pic is good just around the eye talking about the sharpness, and the colors too seems very cold. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
