I had captured this picture of 'Lilac Breasted Roller' (Coracias caudatus) in Kruger National Park during the time of returning home after morning game drive.
It looks like an immature Roller. But still you could see beautiful colours in its plumage. They are common roadside bird in KNP |

Hi Srikumar. A beautiful composition with the perfect pose of this roller, excellent details and colors. Hello Srikumar,
Rollers always make a great subject because of their gorgeous plumage, this particular bird is no exception. A real beauty, showing an array of pastel colors as well as fine detail. Great eye contact and very good exposure considering the harsh lighting you had to deal with.
