I know gardening is not big on this site, but this one I had to post. This is a pricklypear growing wild in my garden. The fruit usually starts with this flower that is blooming for a few days. I had to take this picture because of the contrast the green plant has with the bright yellow flower.

Welcome to TN Riaan.

You do need to consider for this and future posting to TN is that NOTES about the subect you post as an image, and about where and how you achieved the shot and any post work you did to it to prepare it for posting here. There are a lot of good examples already on the site and most people are very approachable for help both in how to write and research the notes and answer your identification questions if you are stuck.
Be warned lack of informative notes is now a reason for images to be removed from TN.

Hi Riaan. Welkom hier by TN. Ek hou baie van hierdie skoot. Die kleur is goed en die beeld is skerp. Daar is net een probleem. Jou nota. Doe ouens gaan jou braai omdat daar nie 'n behoorlike nota by is nie. Hier by TN is die nota amper net so belangrik as die foto.

Die nota kan gaan oor hoe die skoot geneem is en ook wat dit is wat jy geneem het. Dit klink na moeite, maar 'n mens leer baie in die proses.

Ek hoop om nog baie van jou werk te sien.

Groetnis
