Bonjour Stefano,
Yes, this is a real Italian beauty shown in her natural habitat. Good vertical framing too. I just wonder if you don't use a little too much of some "neat-programm". The picture looks a little bit too smooth, at least for me.
Thnaks for your interesting critique concerning M. trivia. I didn't think about this species, I never had seen it. I just have a question, isn't it possibly a M. didyma, subspecies meridionalis? It is not so easy to distinguish all these Melitaea-species..

Ce papillon s'appelle en allemand "Zimtbдr", ce qui veut dire ours de cannelle! La couleur est vraiment spйciale. Une papillon "noble" avec son manteau cannella et son col de fourrure:-)

Nature is showinng its powerful sides in your region..in ours sometimes too. This striking Moth has found a nice shelter in your living-room:-)
This species looks quite close to our Autographa species. Well presented in a diagonal manner, good sharpness too. An interesting document.
